MacKenzie Turnbull brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, technical skill, and industry experience to every project. Born in New Hampshire and deeply inspired by the natural world, she has long been drawn to the connection between environment and emotion—a thread that runs through all her work.

With degrees in French and Theatrical Set Design from Washington College, she developed an early eye for storytelling and spatial atmosphere—skills that now shape her layered, narrative-driven interiors.

After returning to New England, she refined her digital styling skills at Perigold, then deepened her knowledge of luxury materials at the renown textile house, Cowtan & Tout. She went on to spend four formative years at a boutique design firm, honing her craft and building the foundation for what would become Turnbull Interiors.

Today, MacKenzie leads her studio with a hands-on, fun, and collaborative approach—creating timeless, tailored spaces that are both inspired by her roots and grounded in everyday living.
